“Return To Traditions Or Suffer”- Yul Edochie Explains Cause Of Nigeria’s Untimely Deaths

 

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has revealed what he believes is the reason behind the increasing cases of early and untimely deaths in Nigeria.

In a Facebook post, Edochie said he was shaken by the number of obituary posters he saw during a recent road trip from Anambra to Arochukwu in Abia State.

He wrote:

“I drove from Anambra to Arochukwu, Abia State. I saw so many obituary posters. Too many early and untimely deaths.”

The actor stated that, instead of blaming the government or society, Nigerians themselves are responsible for the situation because they have abandoned their traditional ways.

He declared:

“It is because we abandoned our traditional ways. Our ancestors and spirits are angry.”

According to him, the only solution is to return to traditional religion and reconnect with the ancestors.

He said:

“We must go to our traditional religion, align with our ancestors and spirits, and they will fight our battles.”

Edochie added that the more Nigerians embrace foreign ideologies and neglect African spirituality, the more they lose divine protection.
