Bob Marley’s Grandson Joseph Jo Mersa Marley Found Dead In Car

Joseph Jo Mersa Marley, the son of Stephen Marley and the grandson of legendary reggae musician Bob Marley, passed away at the age of 31.

The budding musician was discovered unconscious in a car on Tuesday in the US. There was no mention of the tragedy’s location.

According to Florida radio station WZPP, he reportedly had asthma his entire life and passed away after having an asthma attack.

Bob, Joseph’s grandfather, passed away at the age of 36 from cancer in 1981. He left 11 children behind.

Mark J. Golding, a Jamaican politician, the opposition Leader, and president of the People’s National Party, mourned Marley’s death on Twitter.

He wrote:-

“I’ve just learned of the tragic loss of Joseph “Jo Mersa” Marley. A talented young reggae artiste, son of Stephen Marley & grandson of Bob Marley at only 31 yrs old.

“The loss of a child is a devastating blow no parent should face, my condolences to Stephen & the entire family,” he added.

Marley was born in Jamaica in 1992 before moving to Miami at age 11.
