A Nigerian man, Balogun Omeiza David, has issued a cautionary message to women about being vigilant in relationships.
In a Facebook post, he warned that some men may go as far as paying a woman’s dowry only to fulfill their desire to be intimate with her and later abandon her “like a used commodity.”
He wrote:
“Ladies, you all need to be careful. A man can decide to pay your dowry just for him to have carnal knowledge of you and thereafter discard you like a used commodity.”
His post has sparked conversations online, with many agreeing that women should be more discerning when it comes to choosing life partners, while others argued that such actions are a result of deeper societal and moral issues.
In other news…. Mr Eazi has credited his wife, Temi Otedola, as a key part of his success.
In a recent interview, he was asked: “What do you think the principles of success are?”
Mr Eazi responded: “Marrying a good wife.”
He went on to add that discipline, patience, and a strong moral foundation built on the fear of God are also vital for achieving success.
The singer emphasized that overcoming self-doubt and unbelief can drive a person to accomplish their goals.
Speaking about his Nigerian roots, Mr Eazi said growing up in the country gave him a natural determination and self-belief. “If you’re born in Nigeria, most often than not, you have that drive to go get it and you’ve that self-belief. I don’t know how to explain it. You just see it in a Nigerian, even in the way we walk. The audacity. Maybe, it’s in the eba and soup [laughs],” he said.
Mr Eazi’s marriage to Temi Otedola was officially confirmed in November 2023, and he believes having a supportive wife has greatly influenced his journey to success.
