Big Brother Naija 10/10 housemate, Kola, has announced that he will be slowing down on his pursuit of fellow housemate Dede.
According to GistLover Kola had openly expressed romantic interest in Dede, but she insisted on maintaining a platonic relationship, citing her commitment to a partner outside the house. Despite her stance, Kola continued to make advances and even questioned her closeness with male housemates Jason Jae and Koyin.
Speaking to housemates on Tuesday after his diary session with Biggie and a therapy session with Ibifubara, Kola shared that he felt Dede was “playing with his emotions.”
In a conversation with Sabrina, Kola reflected on the situation, comparing it to the dynamic between 2020 BBNaija Lockdown housemates Ozo and Nengi. He stated that he does not want to repeat that experience and plans to step back.
Sabrina remarked, “You are the only one dedicated to her [Dede],” to which Kola replied, “She is giving mixed signals.”
Sabrina further teased, “Only God knows the conversations she has with Koyin and Jason Jae.”
Kola responded, “I hope my team changes this Ozo and Nengi narrative. I will do the same when I leave the house.”
Fans may recall that during the BBNaija Lockdown season, Ozo’s interest in Nengi became a trending topic. Nengi maintained they were just friends due to her relationship outside the house, though her interactions often left viewers speculating. The situation led to Ozo being mocked online and labeled a “simp” by some viewers.
