UNILAG Law Graduate Bags First Class, Ranks 10th Nationwide

 

Austine Orimoloye, a newly inducted barrister, is celebrating her remarkable academic feat after being called to the Nigerian Bar.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Austine announced that she graduated with First Class honours from the Nigerian Law School, ranking 10th out of a total of 7,134 candidates.

Her achievements don’t stop there she also emerged as the Best Graduating Student from the Faculty of Law at the University of Lagos for the 2023 academic year.

Sharing her joy, she wrote:
“Prayed and prepared for a first class but God literally said hold my cup.”

Her story has since gone viral, inspiring many young Nigerians with her dedication, discipline, and unwavering faith in her journey through law school.

In other news, A Nigerian woman has been called out for allegedly stealing another lady’s identity on TikTok to scam men for money.

The incident came to light after a viral post on X (formerly Twitter) by user @dammiedammie35, which included a video of the confrontation between the real woman and the impersonator.

In the video, the victim clearly upset accused the suspect of using her photos and personal information to create a fake TikTok profile.

“With my face you’re talking to your friends? Which friends do you have? You didn’t post your own face for them to fall in love with you used mine. Look at your requests over 800 people have requested you!”

She also pressed the accused for answers, asking, “Why did you claim to live in the U.S.? How did you get those identity cards? How did you pull this off? You didn’t want people to see your face, but you’re boldly using mine to scam others.”

The video has triggered widespread reactions online, with many users expressing shock and concern over the rising cases of online identity theft and romance fraud.
