“Assertiveness In Women Threatens Marriages”- Blessing CEO Warns

Controversial relationship expert Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has shed light on what she believes are the major challenges affecting marriages today.

Speaking in a recent interview with Instablog TV, she pointed to the growing influence of social media and excessive communication as significant factors contributing to the breakdown of relationships in the modern era.

Blessing noted that the communal support systems that once helped couples navigate marital problems have lost their relevance in today’s society. She also commented on the evolving role of women, stating that while independence and exposure can be empowering, they sometimes create tension in relationships when not managed carefully.

According to her, a woman’s success may unintentionally threaten her partner’s sense of masculinity not because of her accomplishments themselves, but due to how they may be perceived.

She advised women to embrace their femininity and maintain a gentle approach, even as they succeed. Becoming overly dominant or competitive in a relationship, she warned, can push men to withdraw or even walk away entirely.

“In our generation, because I am working and earning money, even if I am quarreling with my husband, what do I need to go to my husband for? Once a woman becomes independent, they begin to rub shoulders with men.

“A lot of people say that whenever a woman becomes successful the man becomes insecure. The truth is that no man is intimidated by your success, they are only afraid of the masculinity that comes with success.

“So women should always remember to be soft, no matter how much you have, because once you start to drag shoulders with your husband, he begins to cheat and look for a woman that is softer or he leaves the marriage,” Blessing CEO said.
