Every Artiste That Has Been Signed To Olamide’s YBNL (Full List)

Over the years, Olamide’s record label, YBNL, has proven to be one of the best music outfits in the country.

Having produced some very successful acts, including the boss himself, Olamide, his protege, Lil Kesh, popular singer, Adekunle Gold, and more, YBNL is definitely one of the most successful record labels in Nigeria.
Here is a complete list of every artist that has, at one point in time been signed or at least affiliated, to the YBNL imprint.

Pelepele

Otherwise known by his other moniker, Makanaki, he is the earliest act that was associated with Olamide‘s YBNL.
He was featured on Baddest Guy Ever Liveth. Whether he had a record deal with the label or not is not known, but there sure was a connection there.

Lil Kesh

Perhaps the most successful artiste Olamide‘s ever signed. Baddo signed Lil Kesh in 2014 and promoted him like there was no tomorrow.
Olamide really pushed Kesh and he became a superstar. By the time he left the label in 2016, he had released one of the best rap albums of the year and had so many hits to his credit.

Adekunle Gold

Adekunle Gold‘s story is a unique one. He was initially a graphic designer and he designed the popular YBNL logo. Then once Baddo got to hear about his music and liked it, he signed the then alternative singer to his label.
Adekunle did hit songs like “Orente,” “Sade” and “Pick Up” while still under the label. His debut album, “Gold” was also released under YBNL. He too, like Kesh, left in 2016.

Chinko Ekun

While today, Chinko Ekun is more popular for his “Able God” hit, the popular rapper did some amazing things at YBNL.
Known for his freestyle ability and lyrical prowess, Chinko made waves under Olamide‘s watch. Unfortunately, things never really clicked for him there and he never had any project released.

Viktoh

Even though Viktoh wasn’t all that serious with the music, in 2014, around when Lil Kesh blew up, he was also promising.
He was always with his YBNL guys and repped the label everywhere. He has two songs with Lil Kesh then, too, including the monster hit, “Efejoku.”

Xino

Nobody really knows Xino, or his music. But a while back, you’d have seen him make the news talking about Olamide and how he was mismanaged.
Apparently, Olamide signed him at some point and he got side-tracked. Bad for him.

Davolee

Davolee, who is perhaps best known for his “Festival Bar” single got signed to YBNL in 2016, and for a while, he was Olamide‘s priority. Baddo even put him on his “The Glory” album.
Davolee released a couple of singles and was doing pretty well on the streets before things went sour. He, like so many others, got sidetracked as Olamide focused on other things.

Temmie Ovwasa

The only lady that has been signed by OlamideTemmie Ovwasa was paraded as the “YBNL princess” when she got signed.
Her alternative style quickly became popular and she was making waves. Some even said she had the potential to be the next Asa. That didn’t go so well though, obviously.

Lyta

Lyta had the talent and the potential to be a superstar and getting signed to Olamide‘s record label was a step in the right direction for the youngster. Well, turns out, not quite.
Another career botched by the YBNL outfit. Lyta, who was absent on the YBNL Mafia album in 2018, left the label in 2019 and caused a controversy.

Limerick

Limerick, who was signed alongside Lyta, is a hardcore rapper. There’s not so much Olamide could do to his career than to give him a platform anyway. Olamide also jumped on one of his singles, “Pesin.”

Picazo Rhap

Back in 2018, Picazo attracted Baddo’s attention after some of his freestyles went viral on social media, then Olamide announced that he was signing the guy to YBNL.
All he ever did under the label was appear on the YBNL Mafia Family album. Whatever happened to their deal anyway.

Yomiblaze

Immediately after announcing the signing of PicazoOlamide was pressured into signing his friend, Yomiblaze, who they freestyled together. He was also on the YBNL Mafia mixtape and that’s where the story ends for him too.

Fireboy

He’s not just the biggest act the label’s ever had, he’s also one of the hottest guys in the country right now. With two banging albums already released, it doesn’t even look like Fireboy‘s deal with Olamide is ending anytime soon.
