Niniola Pens Heart Breaking Tribute To Her Dad Who Was Killed 25 Years Ago

Nigerian queen of Afro-House, Niniola has shared a very heart-wrenching tribute to her dad who was murdered several years ago. 

Today makes it exactly 25 years since the father of the singer and her sister, Teni passed away and she took to her Instagram page to pay tribute to her dad, Simeon Olaosebikan Apata on his death anniversary. Her father was a retired Nigerian Army Brigadier-General before he was assassinated on the 8th of January, 1995. Nini in her post revealed that she chose to celebrate his death rather than being sad and wished he could see how grown she is.

On this day years ago, you were taken away from us but instead of being sad I choose to celebrate your life.
