Singer koker laments..start helping yourselves and stop blaming buhari for everything

Chocolate City singer, Olayiwola Olabanji Kokumo, aka Koker, has urged Nigerians to stop blaming the president for the current situation of the country’s economy, maintaining that they should look inwards and help themselves instead.

The ‘Kolewerk‘ crooner said that he didn’t think that Nigeria’s poor economy was President Muhammadu Buhari’s fault.

He noted that the president couldn’t be happy with the way many Nigerians were suffering and was doing his best to improve the economy.

“I feel like the president is here to guide and protect us. I feel like the president is here to boost the country and it’s not a thing of joy for the country to be derailing. I don’t think it’s his fault.

I think it’s just a matter of time and chance. I know he’s working on it so all we need to do as Nigerians is to in our own little way try to make the economy better.

Forget about dollar, forget about Naira, what are you doing with your hands? What are you doing with your god-given gifts? That’s the most important thing. That’s the question we should ask ourselves.

With that, we can build our own economy around us. Already we are doing that, fueling our own generator, and so on so why can’t we do more. I’m not saying that’s the right thing to do but we are Nigerians we can survive anything,” Koker told Planet TV.

The talented singer became a household name following his release of ‘Do Something’ in 2015.
