Mercy Aigbe-Gentry VS Nigeria Police
Yoruba movie actress, Mercy Aigbe-Gentrywas reportedly arrested on Wednesday by the Nigerian Police in Osogbo, Osun state, following a minor scuffle with some officers.
According to Vanguard newspapers, it all started when the light-skinned actress and her driver were stopped by Policemen at Orita-Olaiya Junction in Osogbo, because her driver made use of a mobile phone while driving.
While things appear to have been settled between both parties, another set of heavily-armed police men stormed the scene, firing several shots in the air as they then apprehended the actress and her co-travellers – taking them away from the scene.
However, according to ASP Egbedele, the assistant Police Public Relations Office, PPRO, Osun state Police command, everything has been sorted out.
It appears everything is indeed sorted out as Mercy posted this picture late last night.
