“I thought he would be buried in a mansion” – Man cries out as Mohbad is laid to rest in Ikorodu (videos)

 

Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has been laid to rest in Ikorodu, Lagos state.

The 27-year-old singer and songwriter sadly lost his life on Tuesday, September 12. However, there are conflicting reports about the cause of his death.

The 27-year-old singer and songwriter sadly lost his life on Tuesday, September 12. However, there are conflicting reports about the cause of his death.

According to some accounts, he had sought medical treatment for an ear infection but, after receiving an injection, he lost consciousnesses and failed to wake up again.

Alternatively, there are claims that during a recent performance at a concert in Ikorodu, he was allegedly struck with a fetish object, commonly referred to as “juju.”

Several clips showing the burial procession is currently making rounds on social media. 

In one of the videos, a man in the community expressed disbelief at the location the singer 

was to be buried.

He shared a video of the burial site, and stated that he thought the singer would be 

laid to rest in a mansion instead of a bushy location.
