Davido Sends Condolences To D’Banj From The BET Awards Stage

Davido was announced the Best International Act at the 2018 BET Awards. While receiving his award, the singer sent his condolences to D’Banj over the loss of his son, Daniel.

The whole industry was thrown into a mourning state yesterday by the news that D’Banj’s 1-year old son drowned in the pool located at the singer’s Ikoyi residence. Fans and celebrities sent their condolences to the family of the singer via different channels, particularly via social media.

Davido who was in the US for the 2018 BET Awards, sent his condolence to his big brother,D’Banj, from the BET stage as part of his acceptance speech for the award for Best International Act; on the memorable night that saw him become the first African to receive that particular award on the BET main stage.
