LAGOS WILL BE SHUT DOWN FOR #AFROBEATPARTY2017 FELA REMEMBRANCE CONCERT

All roads lead to the most anticipated event of the month of August.

It’s the 5th edition of the AFRO BEAT PARTY happening from the 3rd to 5th of August at the NEW AFRIKA SHRINE by 7pm till dawn. This event is a tribute to the late creator of Afro Beat music, Fela Anikulapo Kuti – who joined our ancestors 20 years ago!

Countdown to the 3-day music concerts series starts today!

This year’s edition (as in previous editions) is technically managed by one of the most hard working media firms (Street Media) for the management of New Afrika Shrine with an exclusive support from Nigeria’s topmost premium spirit – REGAL Dry Gin and also marketed by one of Africa’s leading online shopping platform – Jumia Market. They have all formed an alliance to provide quality entertainment for Afro Beat fans to come and witness a “total showdown that will shutdown Lagos” with the presence of top Nigerian artistes such as Don Jazzy, Reminisce, Iyanya, CDQ, Niniola, Jesse Jagz, Viktoh, Mr 2Kay, Mz Kiss, Dremo, Wale Turner, Deshinor, Junior Boy, Dapo Turburna and many more…

As it has been experienced in the previous editions and according to the event technical team, there are heavy indications that this years’ edition would stall vehicular activities although relevant authorities have been briefed by the organizers to make sure there’s law and order.

If you are in town, don’t be caught in “Lagos Go-Slow”… Come witness every moment yourself in an atmosphere considered the biggest concert series in the month of August!
