Singer Funke Gold Who Almost Lost Her Legs To Dangote Truck In An Accident Set To Hold Survival/Thanksgiving Concert

Fast rising singer and fresh graduate of Mass Communication Olabisi Onabanjo University Fagbule Funke better know by her stage name FUNKE GOLD who was a victim of a deadly accident involving Dangote truck that almost made her not to walk again for the rest of her life is set to hold a survival party and a thanksgiving concert.

However it would be recalled that the Internet was put to a stand still sometime last year after friends, and relatives of the FUNKE GOLD raised up their voices with a campaign #JusticeForFunke aimed at calling the attention of the chairman Dangote group of company Mr Aliko Dangote and other human rights bodies to come to her aid in fighting for her rights. She and her band members were involved in a very fatal accident on their way back from a show along sango express road.
This campaign was prompted after Funke and her band members was abandoned at Igbobi clinic Lagos by Dangote and his staffs for several months and didn’t fulfil any of their promises made, but with the intervention of social media and friends who helped to lend their voices, that got the attention of Dangote and he had to intervene.

So Funke is using this medium to thank all her friends, family, and we’ll meaning Nigerians who stood by her all through her struggle and thanking the media, online and offline for helping her speak when she had no voice. And on that note she will be holding a survival and thanksgiving concert to celebrate life and also thank GOD almighty for what he has done.
